Thorough Checks and Verification Terms

At Reloved, we take pride in ensuring that every item we sell has been meticulously hand-verified by our expert team. Using our extensive garment expertise, we thoroughly check each piece for quality, authenticity, and appropriate labelling.

While we uphold rigorous standards and do not sell items that fail our quality checks, we acknowledge that no verification process can be entirely foolproof. Advancements in counterfeit technology mean there is always a very small margin for uncertainty. However, we are confident in our process and assure our customers that we verify items with 99% certainty.

By purchasing from Reloved, customers acknowledge this very small margin of uncertainty and agree to hold Reloved harmless in cases of inadvertent misidentification.

Your trust is important to us, and we strive to maintain it through transparency and diligence in our verification process.

Personal Client Interactions

We only accept items from clients we have personally communicated with. Our experienced team asks detailed questions about the item's purchase history, including requesting receipts when available. Items with insufficient details are not accepted.

Condition terms

To provide clarity on the state of each item, we categorize and describe them as follows:

  • Pristine: The item is like new, with no visible signs of wear and in impeccable condition.
  • Unworn: The item has not been worn and shows no signs of use but may not have original tags.
  • Excellent: The item is in outstanding condition with minimal, barely noticeable signs of wear.
  • Very Good: The item is in great condition with some minor, visible signs of wear that do not detract from its overall quality or functionality.
    We make every effort to ensure our condition descriptions are as accurate as possible.

However, interpretations of "condition" may vary slightly, and customers are encouraged to review item photos and descriptions thoroughly before purchase.

Original Retail Price Mentions (RRPs)

The original retail price (RRP) provided for certain items is based on extensive research and is intended to offer context regarding the item's value.

Despite our best efforts to ensure accuracy, RRPs may occasionally vary due to changes in market trends, discontinued products, or lack of reliable historical pricing data. We encourage customers to view RRPs as informative rather than definitive.

Image Representation

At Reloved, we prioritize authenticity and transparency in presenting our pre-loved luxury fashion collections. The majority of our product images feature real mannequins, ensuring accurate representation of each item's fit, fabric, and design.

For select items, we enhance the visual experience by incorporating AI-generated human model images. These AI-generated visuals are carefully crafted to mirror the exact specifications of the garments, including length, finish, and drape, providing you with a realistic and trustworthy depiction.

This approach allows us to offer a consistent and engaging presentation while maintaining our commitment to quality and sustainability.​
